What is included with my registration?  

  • Three nights’ accommodations at Miraval Austin, the newest location in their world-renowned luxury spa brand collection.

  • A $350 resort credit, which can be used on treatments at the Life in Balance Spa or toward one-on-one time with a Miraval wellness specialist. 

  • Delicious barre3-approved breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, with an emphasis on seasonal and sustainable offerings drawn from Miraval’s on-property organic gardens and hives. Special dietary needs, from vegan to paleo and everything in between, will be accommodated. Your registration will provide you with the following meals:

    • Thursday, April 25th dinner (*optional lunch)

    • Friday, April 26th breakfast, lunch, dinner, and daily snacks

    • Saturday, April 27th breakfast, lunch, dinner, and daily snacks

    • Sunday, April 28th breakfast (*optional lunch)

*Your Miraval meal package will include lunch on either your arrival or departure day. If you would like to add a meal outside of our retreat meal schedule, you can do so for an additional fee.

  • Daily barre3 classes led by barre3 CEO and Co-founder Sadie Lincoln and her team. These classes are designed to move you beyond your studio or online workouts, helping you find a deeper connection with your body and infusing new energy and FUN into your body work.

  • Curated daily workshops led by Sadie, our barre3 team, and the team at Miraval. This is the heart of our program, designed to help you break through the confines of daily life. Our workshops will give you practical tools to make you more productive, more creative, and more intentional in your day to day life. This time is all about the unlocking your inherent strength and native genius.

  • In addition to our barre3 classes and workshops, you will have free time designed into your schedule to enjoy the many offerings at Miraval. A retreat agenda and list of Miraval class options will be emailed to you prior to the retreat. Everything included on the Experience B3 agenda will be included in your registration fee.

  • Round-trip shuttle service from Austin-Bergstrom Airport to Miraval Austin.

  • Time on your own for YOU. Enjoy time at the pool, a spa treatment, a glass of rosé with a new friend, or wander around the impeccable grounds of Miraval Austin. It’s up to you!

What is not included with my registration?

  • Transportation to Austin, whether by air or ground

  • Beverages from the bar

  • Any activities, appointments, and spa treatments outside of our Experience B3 agenda that either require a fee that exceeds your $350 spa credit. Please note, a complete list of spa options, activities, and classes offered by Miraval will be provided to you prior to the retreat.

What time should I plan to arrive on April 25th and depart on April 28th?

Travel arrangements permitting, we would love for you to take part in the full programming of the retreat, including our first group dinner on Friday and our closing circle on Sunday. Our retreat programming on the arrival and departure days is as follows:

April 25th

2:00pm - 5:00pm Barre3 mini-classes

6:00pm - 7:15pm Group dinner

7:30pm - 8:30pm Retreat opening with Sadie

April 28th

6:30am - 9:30am Breakfast and barre3 classes

11:00am Resort check-out

*Although there are specific check-in and check-out times, you can arrive as early as you’d like on April 25th and stay as late as you’re able on April 28th. Even before and after check-in/check-out, you can enjoy Miraval classes, the Life in Balance Spa, and resort amenities.

What does a typical day at Experience B3 look like?

Each day, we will have a full day of barre3 classes, workshops, and activities for you to choose from. And that is the key: YOU choose the experience that works for you. Are you an early riser? We’ve got you covered. Want to break from your hectic morning routine by easing into the day? Join us when you’re ready. Here’s a sample of what a typical day might look like.

  • 6:15 am: Join a Sunrise Meditation Class or a Sunrise Hike on the awe-inspiring 220-acre Miraval property, led by a member of the Miraval outdoor adventure team.

  • 6:30 am: 10:00 am: Sit down to a nourishing, delicious breakfast.

  • 8:00 am: Kick off the day with a barre3 class.

  • 9:30 am: Join the exclusive-to-barre3 Equine Encounter Experience, or unleash your adventurous side on Miraval’s Hill Country Challenge Course, Swing and a Prayer, or Quantum Leap.

  • 11:30 am - 2:00 pm: Enjoy a delicious lunch, and then relax by the pool with a new friend.

  • 2:00 pm: Join a barre3 workshop designed to help you deepen your practice, or join Sadie for her workshop on Core Values: Finding What Matters Most to You.

  • 3:30 pm: Hit the spa, grab your journal and find a quiet spot on the beautiful grounds to reflect on what you've learned, or jump into another barre3 class.

  • 4:30 pm: Take a tour with the Miraval chef of the resort’s onsite organic gardens, chicken coops, and beehives.

  • 5:00 pm: Enjoy a steam shower or sauna in the Life in Balance Spa, or take a barre3 Stretch and Breath class to recenter.

  • 6:30 pm: Enjoy a delicious and healthy dinner with the group prepared by Miraval’s culinary team.

  • 8:00 pm: Grab a cup of tea, and Join Sadie and our barre3 team for a fireside chat to share experiences from the day.

  • 9:30 pm: Adjourn to your room for the night.

I’m traveling alone but would like to share a room. Is this possible?

We highly encourage guests to share rooms! Choose Double Room when registering, and we will contact you to discuss roommate options. We understand that you might be hesitant to share a room with someone you don’t know yet, but our experience with past retreats has been that guests sharing rooms get even more out of the retreat experience. Shared rooms allow you to connect and foster new relationships. We will work with you to find a good roommate match, and we’ll connect the two of you before the retreat. All double rooms will have two separate beds and will only be shared with another barre3 retreat guest of the same gender. Please note the price listed to attend for a Double Room is per person.

I’d like to attend the retreat with a friend. Can we share a room together?

Of course! Choose Double Room when registering, and email us to let us know who you will be rooming with. Please note that the price listed to attend for a Double Room is per person.

I’d prefer a single room. Are these available?

You bet! Choose Single Room when registering, and you will be placed in a single room all to yourself.

Am I able to book a room to arrive a day early or extend my stay?

Yes! We have a group rate available to arrive two days prior to our retreat or stay two days after. The room rate is as follows:

  • Single Room: $516++ per night*, includes meals + $175 resort credit

  • Double Room: $416++ per night*, per person, includes meals + $175 resort credit

*plus 10% service charge and taxes

Do I need to be in good shape to attend? What if I’ve never done a barre3 class?  

If this is a question that is holding you back from attending, YOU are exactly who we want to attend. Maybe you have never attended a barre3 class before, maybe it’s been years since you last did one. It doesn’t matter. This retreat is designed to meet the needs of all fitness levels. Our Experience B3 retreats are designed to inspire clients at every stage of fitness, including those who are just starting out or those who have hit a plateau. We will exercise your soul and your spirit as much as your glutes. What is our favorite saying at barre3? Make It Your Own. And that is exactly what this time together is about: making this about you.

What should I pack?

We will send packing details prior to the retreat with suggested items to bring. But, for starters, we suggest your favorite barre3 leggings!

I just booked—now what?

We will be in touch shortly to discuss special dietary needs, match you with a roommate if you will be sharing a room, provide information on how to schedule your airport shuttle, and answer any questions you have. Your barre3 retreat experience starts when you register.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel, you must do so prior to Friday, March 15, 2019, to receive a full refund of your registration fee, less all credit-card processing and other related fees. If you cancel after Friday, March 15, 2019, your registration fee will not be refunded unless the event is sold out and a replacement attendee registers off the waitlist by paying in full for your space. Under such circumstance, barre3 will refund your registration fee, less all credit-card processing and other related fees. Barre3 has no obligation to find a replacement attendee to book your space. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to experienceb3@barre3.com. Verification of receipt via return email from experienceb3@barre3.com is required for your cancellation to be completed. Refunds will not be issued for early departure from the retreat.

Do you recommend travel insurance?

We think it’s a good idea. We are not affiliated with nor do we endorse any insurance companies, but should a personal matter come up where you are unable to attend, travel insurance may cover cancellation charges for your retreat fee and travel expenses. Travel insurance is also handy to have should you run into travel delays due to weather or airline troubles. The cost is typically inexpensive. Of course, hopefully you won’t need the insurance, but should you, it would be well worth the investment.
